Heading to southern California for a couple weeks so stopped in Quartzsite for our first visit. We have heard and read a lot about the area so had to check it out. For the most part the crowds are gone so the camping areas are wide open. A few of the vendors are still there but looks like the season is winding down. We were really impressed with the area and can’t believe how clean the desert camping areas are. Tomorrow we head to River Island State Park north of Parker and will also visit Lake Havasu City.
