We had a huge trip planned for this summer but with the northern
border closed we will not be able to go to Yukon and Alaska this year, so we
are going to Plan B. It is actually not a
bad plan and should be a good trip with a lot of beautiful scenery and
hopefully some interesting wildlife.
Our general plan is to head up the eastern side of Utah and
spend some time in the Flaming Gorge area which is on the Utah/Wyoming
border. After a few days there we plan
to head up to Red Lodge Montana which is just north of Yellowstone. We love the road up to Sawtooth Pass and want
to take that drive again. Also, a good
opportunity to play in the snow and hopefully we will find some mountain goats
like last year!
After Red Lodge, the plan is to spend a few weeks meandering
around Montana and Idaho to visit some of our favorite spots.
Loaded and ready to hit the road in the morning.
That's kind of the route we are going to take when we leave Billings in September. Looking forward to where you stay and visit. Safe travels.
