Whitehorse YT to Haines Junction YT
Today was a short drive of less than 100 miles from Whitehorse to Haines Junction (both in Yukon Territory). We were planning to stay in Whitehorse an extra day but the RV park was so poor that we decided to move on down the road. We ended up in a really nice Yukon Government campground just east of Haines Junction. The campground was on a small lake with some really nice views of the surrounding mountains. They even provided wood so were able to have a nice fire. Trees are one thing they don’t have a shortage of in the Yukon! Tomorrow we plan to do the final leg to Alaska.
