Making Plans!

Now that the garden and canning season is over and the extreme heat is hitting the desert it is time to get out of town.  We are planning to leave this weekend for a 4 week western adventure.  Plan is to make a beeline to Yellowstone for a few days then make a big loop out to the eastern part of Montana before heading back to Glacier National Park and Flathead lake area. After that we will go toward the coast and follow it south from Seattle to San Francisco before heading for home.  We plan to make updates every few days so come along for the ride!

  1. I was born and raised in Sidney, MT - as far east as you can go without getting into ND. So I have a question for you - have you made reservations over that way yet? The reason I ask is become of the Bakken Oil Field over there. I'm not sure you're going to find a place to stay. However, you might want to check out Makoshika State Park in Glendive. If you stay in Havre on the highline, check out the beneath the streets tour.
